Advert Guidelines

– All listings on www.machineryandequipment.co.za are valid for 30 days from the date of publication, unless otherwise indicated in the package purchased.
– Only items relevant to the categories available on the Website (e.g., machinery, components, equipment) may be advertised.
– Each listing must feature one item only. Multiple items cannot be combined into a single listing.
– Generic listings will not be approved or published, as this violates our one item per listing policy.
– Advertisers who have their own stock are encouraged to include their company logos or watermarks on listing images to protect their branding and ownership.
– Each listing must include:
  – A detailed and accurate description.
  – Clear, original images (not stock or watermarked images from third-party platforms unless it is the advertiser’s own watermark/logo).
  – A valid and verifiable contact number and email address.
– Duplicate listings across regions or categories are not permitted. Each item must be listed once in the most appropriate category and region.
– No misleading, defamatory, or third-party complaint content (e.g., “scammer alerts”) is permitted in listing text.
– Listings offering installment takeovers or vehicles under finance without proper authorization are not allowed.

Marketing and Communications

– All registered users of the Website (www.machineryandequipment.co.za) will automatically receive monthly newsletters and marketing content related to our services and industry.
– Anyone may subscribe to newsletters and marketing content via our Website. Subscribers may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in every email or by contacting us directly.

Monthly Newsletter and Advertising

– All fees paid online are non-refundable, regardless of listing duration, sale, or user cancellation.
– We reserve the right to change fees or introduce new fees at any time, with prior notice where feasible.
– All payments are securely processed through PayFast, our trusted third-party payment gateway.

7. Affiliates and Sales Representatives

– We operate an affiliate program where affiliates receive commission for sales generated through their unique links.
– Affiliates may not be registered users of the Website, as this presents a conflict of interest.
– All users are strongly encouraged to use affiliate or sales representative links when listing or purchasing items on www.machineryandequipment.co.za to track sales and ensure proper commission allocation.
– Africa Machinery & Equipment reserves the right to suspend or terminate affiliate accounts or links that violate our policies.
